Purple Rhino Music Management
Purple Rhino Music is an international music management and promotions company. We are based in London, Dublin and have recently expanded our operations to Houston, Texas.
While completing her degree and being the entertainments manager for her university's Students Union, the owner of the company was approached by some fellow students to manage their newly formed baned. Having agreed to do so, the Purple Rhino Music Management company was established in London in 2000.
Although the first band to approach Purple Rhino Music did not continue in the music business, having to instead find jobs to pay off their student loans, Purple Rhino continued to exist.
Having worked with London based bands for a number of years, Purple Rhino Music decided to expand their operations to Dublin, Ireland in 2006. Being that Ireland was putting out some excellent bands at that time, it seemed to be the best move for the company.
In addition to representing UK based bands and musicians, we extended our management to bands based in Dublin and Cork. Having good ties with music venues and services in both the UK and Ireland, our European company began to expand.
In 2008, we decided to move to the US in order to provide representation and music managements to a larger demographic.
We are currently operating in Houston, Texas, and plan to expand to California within the next year.
